Lots of private jets BizJets, the varsity never disappoints, on the weekend I’ll be flying to LAX, and certainly can’t wait to spot the variety of the aircrafts it’ll bring me. Thanks for sharing this. I love the Long Beach airport. My grandparents lived 4 1/2 miles straight down Wardlow, and my dad worked for McDonald Douglas back in the the day. So LGB has always felt like “our airport”.

Who is the guy at the podium and cutting the cake wearing a white shirt, what appear to be blue jeans, and white tennis shoes? Doesn't he own a suit, or at least a coat and tie? Completely pathetic for an important event. But, then again, he is at the airport, so at least he isn't there to board his flight in pajamas and fuzzy slippers. Dumbed down and out of touch. Welcome to today's world yet agan.

It certainly brings back memories, and hopefully will look forward to visiting it in the futures. Thanks for sharing and for your time being there and maybe in the futures youl have trip reports in the near comings which I’m sure would reflect on this one. And unfortunate to see major changes to this terminal in which will be a new for the on comings.

I used to go up to the outdoor viewing area quite a bit back in the mid 80’s and loved catching the views of all the airliners and the passengers boarding their planes. Sad that that’s no longer visible.
